  • "This property was absolutely perfect for our family reunion, which included three littles and a range of other ages up to 71. There is *so much* to do without even leaving the property - and on the frequent clear, calm days we had during our July stay, the water was stunningly clear and refreshing to swim in. We also enjoyed several local excursions. The host is extremely responsive with communication, and everything was lovingly and thoughtfully set up and well stocked.Two quick notes to be aware of if anyone has knee or hip issues - the floors in the cabin are a bit uneven, and there are no bedrooms on the ground floor in either house. We are keeping this on a short list of places to return to as we plan future reunions! Thank you for a wonderful 10 days!"

  • "Loved this place as soon as we drove in. Everything was provided to us. We stayed for a few nights with grandparents, plus siblings and our families. So much thought was put into hosting us. As soon as we walked in there was a tray of local treats and a greeting card to welcome us in.Great for families with small children as there are lots of tovs and even portable cribs plus swing and highchair. The place was clean and the kitchen had ample supplies. The outdoor space was also so much fun with the shed that had a kayak and canoe plus life jackets and water toys. My kids loved the water and swing set. It was a peaceful and relaxing getaway. This place was a dream."

  • "Our family had a wonderful time at Skipping Rocks Cottage for a week. The two homes were quite spacious which made it easy with the amount of people we had. There were also lots of extras included in our stay like an awesome games area, paddle boards, a kayak, and many other fun things for all ages to enjoy.   • "We had a group at the cottage for a family vacation. The house was a perfect setting, with plenty of space for eight adults to live, cook, and eat. The location has easy access to town and its position on the lake is immaculate. The new dock (not currently in the pictures) is a lovely addition to the property, letting you sit right on the water. Breanna and Kylie were both very helpful and responsive. They give an excellent guide to help you navigate the property and the surrounding area, helping keep your stay easy and relaxing. We would definitely come again!"

    "We stayed for 4 nights to celebrate our anniversary. It was just the 2 of us so there was WAY too much space, but it was perfect. We used the kitchen every night and this is probably the best kitchen I've ever used in an Airbnb (so many amenities!). You also, can't beat the location. Waking up each morning to the sunrise over the water was amazing. The fire pit is in such a great location as you get the views while enjoying a campfire, same goes for the hot tub. We used the space as a home base and visited Meaford, Thornbury and Collingwood which were all short drive away. Highly recommend!"

The main cottage was quaint, a log home very nicely renovated but none of the charm removed. The rear building was modern and had everything a family could want (as my grandkids would testify to).     "We loved staying at this beautiful cottage! There were 10 of us in total and between the two on-site cottages there was ample room for everyone. The private lake access was fantastic - the water was warm and inviting - and in the evenings we had lovely fires. The kids enjoyed the various activities, both water and games related. Having AC was a bonus! Any questions and concerns we had were responded to immediately. While our primary purpose was relaxation and serenity, despite the seclusion, town isn't far with lots of amenities and restaurants."
